*Uncovering Florida is in no way affiliated with the Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival and receives no commissions from sales.* In the dead of Florida’s blisteringly hot summer, what better thing to do to beat the heat than celebrate a frozen treat? On July 21, the Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival will be coming back for its third annual run in honor of National Ice Cream Day. Admission to this festival is free, and over 30 ice cream vendors from across the state will be selling their best frozen desserts, including soft serve ice cream, popsicles, gelato, and more, as they compete for the publicly voted “Best Ice Cream” award in Tampa Bay. From 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the event will be near the St. Pete Pier off of Spa Beach Park, specifically at 600 2nd Ave, NE St. Petersburg, FL 33701. In addition to sweets, this family-friendly festival will be offering live music and other activities. Visit the event’s webpage here to add this year’s Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival to your calendar.
