Astronomy lovers, mark your calendars! The annual Leonid Meteor Shower is set to grace the night sky next weekend, with peak activity expected on the night of November 16 and into the early morning of November 17. This celestial event is famous for its fast-moving meteors, which often leave bright trails, making it a spectacle you will not want to miss. During the peak, skywatchers could see up to 15 meteors per hour. The best time to catch the show will be after midnight, but meteors can be visible all night long, weather permitting. To get the best view, find a spot away from city lights, give your eyes about 20-30 minutes to adjust to the dark, and look toward the constellation Leo, where the meteors will appear to radiate from.
