Chinese Festival of Lights: Dive into a Sea of Glowing Marine Wonders at Clearwater Aquarium

​After being closed for weeks due to the hurricanes, Clearwater Marine Aquarium is officially welcoming guests back just in time for the holiday season. Now, you can dive into a sea of lights and wonder at Aqua Lanterns: A Chinese Festival of Lights, now open at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This after-hours experience features stunning lantern displays and takes place Wednesday through Sunday evenings, plus select dates through December 30, 2024.

As the sun sets, the aquarium transforms into a glowing marine world, showcasing over 30 vibrant and intricately crafted lanterns, including breathtaking 13-foot-tall sculptures of whales, penguins, jellyfish, and other sea creatures. Guests can stroll through this mesmerizing experience and enjoy the illuminated art alongside Clearwater Marine Aquarium's real animals, creating an unforgettable evening for the whole family.
