5 of Florida's BEST pumpkin patches you will definitely want to go to this year (MAPPED)

'Tis the season to be spooky! With arguably the internet's (and my) favorite holiday right around the corner, you will certainly want to be making your pumpkin pickin' plans now before all the gourds have been picked! Thankfully, there are several Florida pumpkin patches open for the 2021 season and I have gathered a list of the five top-rated farms located throughout the state for you to choose from. 

The map is below, but make sure you read through each of the farms and what they have going on as many offer an array of fall festivities including festivals, corn mazes, haunted houses and even sunflower fields that may just convince you to travel a little farther for.

Holland Farms

Where are my north Florida peeps at?! Holland Farms, known as "the nuttiest place around" is the pumpkin patch you will definitely want to be making your way to this fall season. Their family-friendly fall festivities start on September 25 and will continue all the way until November 6. According to their Facebook event page, a $14 wristband per person for the pumpkin patch "includes 1 pumpkin, (extra pumpkins $6, sunflowers $1), hayride, and all other activities. Activities include-spider web, sand box, swings, tractor swings, pedal tractor cart racing, petting zoo, corn box, zip lines, train and hill tube slide." Oh, and while you are there, be sure to buy a handful of their delicious locally-grown peanuts!

Conner's A-Maize-Ing Acres Farm

Maize -- mazes -- Conner's A-Maize-Ing Acres will have it all this fall. This family-owned farm located north of Jacksonville will be starting their "Fall Farm Days" October 1 running through 31 on Fridays and Saturdays from 10a.m. to 10p.m. GA tickets start at $14.99 per person. This particular farm has some really cool extras on certain days including special night time festivities like night time wagon rides, flashlight corn maze events, a haunted trail and they even a have a "Redneck Olympics" event on the 16. Admission includes all regular activities except corn cannon, pumpkins and horseback rides.

Amazing Grace Family Farm

Slightly south of Jacksonville you will find Amazing Grace Family Farm's fall events happening every Friday and Saturday. This year they plan to feature a pumpkin patch, maze (pictured above), sunflowers (weather-permitting), farm animals and so much more. Their fall flash sale begins on September 7 at 8a.m. Tickets start at $9.95.

The Pickin' Patch

This sprawling oasis known as The Pickin' Patch in Dunnellon is proud to be one of the states only genuine "pick out of the field" pumpkin patches. According to the information on their site, the 2021 season will open on October 1 and run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 24. There will be a corn maze, kids hay fort with slides, kids hay maze and live bluegrass music all included with the price of admission. You will have a chance to grab a wagon and take your pick from a variety of unique pumpkins, gourds and of course pick a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers. Pumpkin prices range from $4-$30 and sunflowers are $2 per flower -- admission to the property is $5.

Hunsader Farms

Centrally located in Bradenton, Hunsader Farms is my go-to for all things u-pick related.  Their annual pumpkin fest is taking place this year on different weekends during October. Included in the $12 admission is the craft show, live entertainment, hay rides, petting zoo and barnyard playground. They will have a host of other festivities available for an upcharge.
