A blackberry U-pick farm near Tampa is officially open for the 2021 season

Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries --Starkey Farms has it all-- but blackberries just came into season and it's a U-pick opportunity you won't want to miss. 

Located just north of Tampa in Trinity, this 45-acre farm offers a variety of U-pick fruits at different times of the year. Currently, blueberries and blackberries are in season, and strawberries will be making a comeback later in the year. 

All berries are limited in supply, but don't worry, there are over two acres of blackberry bushes ripe for the picking!

It's suggested that you prepare accordingly for your U-pick adventure. "Bring water, a hat, and sunscreen! We recommend close-toed shoes, the terrain is uneven and can be muddy," the farm'sFAQ notes. They will provide you with buckets and bags.

Hours are 7:30a.m.-7:30p.m. everyday except Sunday, which is 9a.m.-6p.m. Early in the morning is the best time to make it out if you want to avoid the hot Florida sun!
