A boozy adults-only night is coming to this central Florida aquarium soon

For some, an escape to the aquarium sounds like a dream; for others, it sounds more like wandering an underwater world with a bunch of noisy kids running around. For the latter, the next 21+ adults-only night at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium might be a little more your speed — this time with a Latin theme.

Latin Night at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is set to take place on Friday, September 8, 2023, between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm, offering a host of themed activities alongside access to explore the aquarium's exhibits.

Stilt walkers and traditional Latin dancers will greet and entertain guests, with on-site dance instructors offering curious steppers Salsa dancing lessons on the dance floor.

After you've Salsa danced your heart out, on-site bites will help you wind down and recharge before you explore the aquarium. A cash bar will also be available for those hoping to sip on spirits throughout the night; however, one free drink is included with your ticket purchase.

Those looking for something a little more key may be more interested in the Live Cigar Rolling presentations provided by J.C. Newman Cigar Co., enjoying one to themselves in a designated smoking area away from the animal exhibits.

The night will end with a 45-minute "La Hora Loca" special party.

Tickets are available at two different advance price points, $50 for General Admission, or $70 for VIP Admission. Each includes live entertainment, an interactive dolphin presentation, access to on-site dining and cash bar options, as well as one free beverage. Going VIP offers additional perks, including early entry at 6 pm, a VIP bathroom on the 4th level, VIP exclusive entertainment, and a private dining buffet in the Grand Ballroom.
