*Uncovering Florida is in no way affiliated with Brick Fan Fest; they receive no revenue from purchases.* Whether you were a casual builder or had all the coolest kits on display in your room as a kid, there's just something special about LEGOs. For some, the magic of seeing an awesome build never truly faded. Regardless of how you got your start, mega fans of the nostalgic brick can celebrate all things LEGO at a massive LEGO event in Tampa this summer. Brick Fan Fest will take over the Florida State Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20, with the stars of the show being larger-than-life builds that will immerse you into the world of LEGO. But a bunch of pre-finished builds isn't all that festival-goers can expect in the way of attractions. According to Brick Fan Fest's website, alongside LEGO City, Fan Builds, and Professional Brick Builder creations, LEGO fans can also enjoy interactive themed zones, including Star Wars, Jurassic Dinos, an Aquarium, and Pirate's Cove, as well as Character Meets, Guest Speakers, custom build and kid zones, a brick-art station, race ramps, brick vendors, and so much more. Competitive folks and those hoping to really leave their mark on the festival will also have chances to participate by way of joining host Tim Croll from Season 2 of LEGO Masters for a Master Build Challenge, or by stopping by the Architect Zone to build whatever you want to add to an entirely fan-built display. As of publication, tickets are available for $20 under an early bird special, with at-door pricing set to $25. Each day is separately ticketed; however, no matter which day you decide to go, a specially printed brick to commemorate your visit is also available for an additional $5.
