Admit it, you fell asleep with Cartoon Network on when you were a bit younger and woke up to see the animated antics of metal supergroup Dethklok in their Adult Swim show, Metalocalypse. While the show was wild and packed with stupid humor, heavy metal fans may have found themselves headbanging while wishing to catch a real-world tour. Well, now's your chance to see them live, as they'll be shredding Orlando this summer. As reported by Orlando Weekly, IRL-Dethklok will be headlined by show creator, Brendon Small, as well as Death to All drummer, Gene Hoglan. They'll take the stage alongside the likes of pop-metal princesses, BabyMetal, and American Guitarist, Jason Richardson. The 29-date national "Babyklok" tour will kick off in late August in Houston, Texas. However, only a single stop will come to Florida at the start of September, where they'll rock the Central Florida Fairgrounds Orlando Amphitheater. The show's set to start at 7 pm; doors will open at 6 pm, with tickets priced at $50 each as of publication. If you don't happen to live in the Sunshine State fret not — you can also catch a show in multiple locations across North America with stops popping into Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, California, and Canada. Some lucky states are seeing more than one stop, such as Texas with a 2nd show in Dallas. Other states seeing more than one tour date include Pennsylvania, Michigan, and California. However, some are already sold out and can be seen in the post shared to Instagram 5 days ago here. Those hoping to hit the Orlando show can start snagging tickets on Friday, August 14. Sales will start at 10 am through Ticketmaster here. Article by Rachael Volpe
