September is here and with it comes pumpkin spice, horror movies and of course, theme park events! Kicking off the spooky season is Tampa Bay's Busch Gardens' Howl-O-Scream event starting officially this September 10, and running on certain nights all the way through October 31.
"Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream returns in full force, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and more," the official event page says in part, further nothing that due to the violence, gore and blood, the event is intended for mature audiences only. "Unspeakable horror lives in every dark corner, including on Busch Gardens' pulse-pounding thrill rides. Howl-O-Scream is bringing fear to the next level and once you're in there's nothing to fear but everything."
If you are wondering what there is to do at Busch Gardens Howl-O-Screm nights, new this year includes the Stranglewood Estate haunted house attraction, and as years previous visitors can look forward to scare zones, horror shows, and of course, amusement park rides--to name a few highlights.
Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed event running from 7:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and tickets can be doubled with Sea World Orlando's Howl-O-Scream event for only $84.99. The two park deal and other admission options can be purchased here. Costumes will not be permitted at the event--but that doesn't mean you can't wear some spooky-themed threads!
