All about everything 4:20? A free cannabis-themed event in Orlando later this month may be worth checking out — with a larger iteration of this kick-off party to come in the Fall. On April 20, 2023 at 6 pm, Ace Café will team up with Canna Earth to craft Canna Land: a 420 Celebration. The event will take over the cafe's parking lot, elevating their recurring Thursday bike night with various ways to get high on fun. In addition to the motorcycle meet-up, you'll have access to 4 indoor and outdoor bars serving up a variety of eats and drinks, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. You'll also have live musical entertainment from a slew of DJs, bands, and artists setting the vibe. On-site tattoos, henna, and body paint artists will let your skin be the canvas for celebration while you browse a diverse lineup of canna vendors offering an array of unique craft goods, exclusive business discounts, and other goodies for you to take home and commemorate your Canna Night. Weed is still illegal to sell or buy, unless you're a medical patient in the state of Florida, but if you have a valid medical card and bring it with you to the festival, an on-site patient relief area will let you toke up before you hit the Grub Hub. Even though this fest is about everything 420, no glass apparatus, flame torches, or other large smoking devices will be allowed at the venue for safety reasons. You may want to peep the full list of items not allowed on their FAQs page here before you go, just to be safe! General admission is free, however, there is a $20 early-bird special ticket available too. Your early-bird ticket grants early access to the event, a VIP lounge, space permitting, and a front-stage viewing area, as well as a swag bag with goodies for you to take home, and special prices on VIP bottle service. There are 3 different VIP package tiers, each offering more than the last. The additional VIP packages range in price between $225 and $325. The 6 pm to midnight event at Ace Café serves as the kick-off party for a larger version of the festival that's set to take over Lake Eola Park, which was recently pushed back. Originally slated for April 23, the larger iteration, dubbed the Canna Earth Experience, is now set for Saturday, September 23. "We pushed it so it can be bigger and better!" a Canna Earth representative told Uncovering Florida. Canna Earth will offer a wider lineup of food vendors in their Munchies Zone, as well as a Beer Garden, a Canna-Café & Smoothie Bar serving up infused sweets and treats, as well as recovery eats, a pop-up greenhouse they're calling the Garden of Green, a Graffiti Wall for you to leave your mark on the fest, a Zen Garden, and more yet to be announced. Canna Earth will not have free admission. Tickets haven't gone on sale yet, nor have prices been listed. According to a festival representative, they're currently set to go on sale sometime in June, with the September Festival's updates coming sometime in the near future.
