Anyone up for a free outdoor viewing of one of the most iconic movies of 2023 later this month? Dust off your pink outfits and bring your Kenergy because Armature Works is showing the new 2023 "Barbie" movie on the lawn in Tampa on Wednesday, March 27, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. While general admission is free, enhanced experience options are also available. VIP Adirondack Chair Seating located at the front of the lawn is $10 per person, and VIP Blanket Seating, which includes one Armature Movie Mat/Picnic Blanket that you get to keep and a spot directly in front of the show, is $40 for up to four people. Spots are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis, so Armature Works suggests RSVPing in advance here and arriving early. Armature Works also encourages guests to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. However, bringing outside refreshments, including food, beverages, and coolers, is prohibited. Vendors will be available onsite from a popcorn-selling food truck and at Heights Public Market. In addition, a “Peroni Pop up” will be offering free samples for guests 21 years old and older. Heights Public Market consists of about 16 different vendor options ranging from asian cuisine to barbecue. Businesses here like Bar AW and Buddy Brew Coffee offer beverages, Bake’N Babes and Chill Bros. offer sweets, and Dalmoros and Steelbach offer meals. Steelbach was also recognized for its cocktails by the Michelin Guide in 2023. If you are unable to attend next week’s movie on the lawn, Armature Works will likely be hosting more in the future. In fact, Armature Works hosts a variety of events throughout every month, including sunset paddle happy hours, book clubs, trivia nights, and festivals. Check out the Armature Works calendar for more events and details here. *Uncovering Florida is in no way affiliated with the Armature Works and receives no revenue from visitor purchases.* Article by Ema Tibbetts
