Ahhh, the gloomy days. A sick side-swoop bang, hair dyed blacker than your heart; the tightest pair of skinny jeans squeezing at your ankles that are stuffed into that favorite pair of red Chuck's you wear with everything. You don't go anywhere without your iPod loaded with songs from August Burns Red, My Chemical Romance, and Bring Me The Horizon. Well, elder emo's, rejoice — because now's your time to bring the good ol' days back. One cruise out of Miami, Florida next year will give you a chance to bust out those old skinnies and your slickest swimwear while partying with your favorite iconic bands of the genre in the Bahamas.
"We’re stoked to set sail on the @emosnotdead777 cruise [February] 26 - March 1, 2024." a Facebook post by August Burns Red reads, in part. "It is our understanding that breakdowns just hit different when you’re on a boat traveling across the open sea."
August Burns Red isn't the only band to set sail on a sea of tears next February. They join the likes of 9 other artists, including Mayday Parade, Story of the Year, and Yellowcard, with more set to be announced at a later date.

The cruise will also feature a special full-length album set performed by Your Broken Hero with the Emo King himself, Matt Cutshall, also hosting a late-night-talk-show called The Tonight (Tonight) Show, with special guests from yet-to-be-announced bands set to take the stage.
Additional amenities include an on-ship swimming pool and hot tubs, a casino, spa, fitness center, jogging and walking track, as well as a sports court.
According to reports from Blabbermouth, the first round of pre-sale signups for previous Emo's Not Dead Cruise alumni starts tonight, May 9, at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time, with signups closing on May 14 at the same time.

Tickets to cruise and party with your favorite emo bands pool and sand-side will run you anywhere between $770 for a 4th deck interior room for 4 guests, to upwards of $6,000 for a single-guest stay in one of the owner's suites.
Pricing appears to be more affordable when going with a whole crew, with the website offering single, 2, 3, and 4-guest options at varying price points.
