Florida meets Wild West at this adorably cozy western-style resort

Okay so I know you're probably thinking this must be the same place I posted about before (Love Valley) but it's not. No, in fact, Westgate River Ranch is located right here in sunny central FLA, and it's the perfect escape for your modern-day woes. 

This unique 1,700-acre dude ranch is only a short hour drive south of Orlando, and just north of one of the state's best dark sky park, Kissimmee Prairie Preserve.

This beautiful resort features luxury glamping accommodations including teepees, tents, and their newly-introduced covered wagons. But you don't even have to stay overnight to enjoy many of the amenities this hidden gem has to offer. 

From horseback riding to rodeos, archery to mechanical bull riding, there are an array of fun western-style activities to partake in at the ranch; though some, like the rodeo, are closed or currently only open to overnight guests due to the limited capacity. â€‹

Their activities are very reasonably priced; horseback rides are $48.15 (per person), airboat rides are $30 for adults, $20 for children, and the archery range is $10 --to name only a few. The full list and prices can be found here.

The resort has a 4-star overall rating on Tripadvisor, is the #2 of #9 hotels in the area, and many positive reviews.

​"We all know we are living in a different situation with pandemic and all. But I have to say that this place just takes you to our ancestors roots. The connection with the nature is just amazing," a portion of a review from December 2020, reads.
