Florida space center offering two different deals through the summer

Sunshine Staters looking for things to do this summer may just want to turn to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island — as they're offering Florida Residents a special deal on admission through the summer, as well as a discount for non-residents.

The Kennedy Space Center's Florida Resident Summer Offer for 2023 gives residents the opportunity to explore their halls of space history and interactive exhibits for two days at a single-day ticket price of $75 for adults and $65 for children between the ages of 3 and 11.

The offer is available now and will run through August 31, 2023. Those hoping to take advantage of the deal must purchase their tickets by August 30, 2023, with both days of admission requiring redemption by August 31. This resident deal will require proof of residency upon arrival.

Another discount is also available now through August 30, 2023, when purchasing tickets online at KennedySpaceCenter.com by using the code SAVE7 at checkout — taking $7 off of admission for one adult and/or child ticket.

These discounts come as a celebration not only of the sunny season but to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Sally Ride's first spaceflight. Throughout the summer, there will be opportunities to engage with trailblazers in the space industry, launch into the cosmos (via the new Spaceport KSC), and see a rocket launch.

Guests also have the opportunity to engage with real veteran NASA astronauts every day at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex via the Astronaut Encounter, Chat With An Astronaut, and participate in photo opportunities throughout the complex; inspiring future generations to reach for the stars.
