On April 3 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and April 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Pinellas Park Civic Orchestra is putting on a free concert. Both concerts will feature a total of five pieces by John Stafford Smith, Beethoven, Greig, Mahler, and Böhme. The concerts will be hosted at the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center. Seats are available on a first come, first serve basis. While it is free to attend, the orchestra’s website states that donations are appreciated. The flyer suggests a donation amount of $10. Conducted by Dr. Martin H. Seggelke, the performing musicians include a team of 12 violinists, five violists, five cellists, two string bassists, two flutists/piccolo players, two oboists/English horn players, three clarinetists, one bass clarinetist, one bassoonist, five French horn players, three trumpeters, four trombonists, one tubist, and one percussionist. That is 47 instruments in total. The Pinellas Park Civic Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) charity. It is funded largely by its patrons and sponsors.
