Being a Florida resident comes with its perks, from calling its sandy shores home to discounts on trips to Disney World and Busch Gardens, and everything in between. But if crowded theme parks aren't really your thing, a resident discount to Imagine Museum in St. Pete might speak more your language — where you can get lost in a world of trippy glass art. You'll find Imagine and its 2 floors full of 21 out-of-this-world exhibits at 1901 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. Given the fragile nature of these displays, you'll find yourself in a strict look-but-don't-touch zone of gravity-defying and psychedelic creations from a variety of artists. Some exhibits are around for a limited time, while others are regularly on display. A glass path hallway installation of creations on the 2nd floor also changes annually to give museum-goers a unique experience as they return to stroll through the galleries. You can see a list of ongoing exhibits as of publication below:
Admission to this gallery would normally run for $15, but as a part of their summer discount deal for residents, you can get in for just $10.
