Have you too been scrolling through social media while lounging on a beach somewhere sipping a margarita in paradise while seeing all of your northern friends posting their lovely snow photos and talking about how cold it is? Because, same. Anyone who is residing in the Sunshine State right now can rest assured knowing Florida's temperature forecast is far above even the "hottest" spots in the US right now.
According to The Weather Channel, South Florida temps are clocking in at a high of 82, whereas Death Valley is only reaching up to 72. Every other major city around the nation is even lower yet. Phoenix is at 55 degrees, Dallas is at 8, and LA is at 57 --and if you think that's bad, there is nearly 100 degrees of difference between South Florida and the North West. Even the most northern spots in Florida, like Jacksonville and Pensacola, are considerably warmer than the majority of the nation. Check out the map taken at 1:10p.m. from The Weather Channel below.
Better yet, the warmth is expected to stay.
The 10-day forecast for Florida, according to The Weather Channel, says temperatures will remain roughly the same with some clouds and thunderstorms in the mix. You can check the exact predictions for your area here. Being a snowbird never sounded so good, am I right?
