'Largest Dessert Festival in America' to return to Tampa this fall

A battle of the best sweets will take over Tampa soon — giving would-be festival attendees the chance to crown the king of them all at the Largest Dessert Festival in America this Fall.

Dubbed Dessert Wars Tampa, this massive festival will pit treat royalty against a variety of vendors slinging their own sugary concoctions. Event-goers will have the opportunity to snack on all the sweets before putting in their vote for the top dog; just how much treat tasting you'll be doing will depend on which ticket you choose.

General Admission runs for $45 and includes 30 sampling tickets, a to-go box, and standard entry to the venue at 4 pm. VIP Admission is $65, offering 50 sampling tickets, a to-go box, as well as early entry at 3 pm to beat some of the crowd.

According to their website, goodies to grace tables at previous iterations of Dessert Wars have included towers of donuts, The Yard's iconic milkshakes, CBD-infused bites, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cobblers, and ice creams of a wide variety, and so much more.

As for who all will face off this September, vendors have yet to be announced. Uncovering Florida will update this article as more information is released.
