Largest indoor water park & resort slated for Florida open in 2024 offers early booking discount

The largest family indoor water park and resort in North America is now taking reservations in the Sunshine State, an August 2 release states. Great Wolf Lodge's first Florida location now has a tentative opening date, as the construction contractor, Suffolk, has placed the final external building blocks for the resort coming to Naples.

The interior will feature a 90,000-square-foot indoor waterpark alongside a 60,000-square-foot Great Wolf Adventure Park, with the 500-family-friendly suite resort finding its home on 20 acres near the eastern edge of Collier County. Now that the exterior is laid, these interior amenities have become the building's next priority.

"Today marks a significant milestone in the construction of Great Wolf Lodge South Florida, as we start focusing on the interior portions of the resort and all the amazing family experiences we will offer," said Chief Executive Officer for Great Wolf Resorts John Murphy. "We're looking forward to opening this resort and offering families across South Florida a close, convenient, and carefree getaway destination."

The company broke ground on the Naples resort in July 2022, originally forecasting the grand opening for the Spring or Summer of 2024; however, Hurricane Ian last September has pushed the date to Fall of 2024.

According to the release, the tentative opening date for the waterpark and resort is now set for October 1 of 2024; however, say an earlier date could be announced pending future construction milestones set to take place this fall and winter. The Resort is expected to result in more than 600 full and part-time hires by the time it opens.

In celebration of completing external built-outs, Great Wolf Lodge is offering early bookers hoping to secure their stay in advance the chance to save some cash on their visit to the first Florida location by using discount code "RAISETHEROOF" at checkout.

The limited-time offer unlocks up to 30% off on room rates, with one-night reservations securing a 25% discount. Two nights or more will be eligible for the 30% discount. Guests must book the offer before October 1, 2023, setting their stay for any date between October 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
