*Uncovering Florida is in no way affiliated with Lotte Plaza Market and receives no revenue from visitor purchases.* The massive Lotte Plaza Market Asian Grocery Store has officially opened its doors in Tampa. The grocery mecca made its debut on November 3, 2023 at 17605 Bruce B Downs Blvd. “Since 1976, Lotte Plaza Market has strived to be the premier source for Asian groceries in Maryland and Virginia,” writes the ownership team in its company mission statement. “Our desire to continuously improve customer relations and contribute to the community we serve has helped us grow from a single store in 1989 to 12 locations throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.” The Asian grocer offers a variety of meats, seafood, produce, teas, unique sauces, and specialty products from popular brands across the U.S. and Korea. Lotte's owners say they strive to provide quality products at affordable prices, changing their selections out as their customers' tastes shift. The Tampa location also boasts a robust food court, giving would-be shoppers the chance to indulge in a meal before or after they shop. While Lotte Plaza also operates out of Orlando, the new location is the first-ever to pop up in Tampa. The company aims to open 50 Lotte Plaza Market locations by 2030.
