Jane Schneck, Florida woman and mother of pop sensations Aaron Carter and Nick Carter, was arrested and booked in Hernando County on April 29 for battery, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office inmate search. According to the booking information, the 64-year-old was booked at 1:41a.m. and released on the same day at 6:49p.m. TMZ reports that Schneck was arrested following a dispute with her husband over the TV volume. "We're told Jane was listening to music so loudly on the TV, her hubby couldn't go to sleep ... and they had a confrontation over the remote," TMZ wrote. Schneck's husband reportedly called the police over the dispute after Schneck grabbed his wrist. "When cops got to Jane's Florida home, we're told officers watched his cell phone video and decided they'd seen enough to arrest Jane for battery," TMZ reported. Schneck recently lost her son, Aaron Carter, who was a well-known pop star in the early 2000s. The "I Want Candy" singer was found dead in his California home's bathtub in November as a result of drowning and substance abuse. Despite information made public on the official autopsy report and Carter's openness about his struggle with substance abuse over the years, Schneck has made several public posts stating that she believes her son died under mysterious circumstances. "Thanks to Aaron’s fans I’ve been getting lots of information to share with the Detectives investigating his death I will continue to post as much as I can to help them investigate his death," Schneck wrote, in part, on her Facebook on March 30. Schneck has not posted anything publicly on Facebook since her arrest.
