New resort coming to Florida debuts 28 acres of first man-made lagoon & beachfront in Orlando7/17/2023 *Uncovering Florida is in no way affiliated with Evermore Orlando.* A new resort coming to Orlando, Evermore, has officially finished construction on its biggest drawing feature — an 8-acre artificial lagoon and 20 acres of beachfront set to open later this year as the first of its kind in The City Beautiful. According to company officials, Evermore Orlando Resort's new bay, Evermore Bay, is a part of the 1,100-acre resort complex, located at 1 North Jacaranda, and is close to Walt Disney World's theme park thrills. The masterminds behind the 20 acres of beachfront and 8 acres of crystalline waters are a Miami-based Company, Crystal Lagoons. Some features set to debut with Orlando's first man-made lagoon include a swimming hole, rope swings, waterslides, kayaking and paddle boarding, a hammock grove, sandcastle building areas, private fire-pits, bars, cabanas, and much more. As for the rest of the resort, the complex is set to feature nearly 1,500 bedrooms focused around the Conrad Orlando — a 433-room luxury facility. Rooms available for rent will feature a variety of arrangements, including 69 houses ranging in size from five to eleven bedrooms, 206 four-bedroom flats, and 41 two and four-bedroom villas, a report from Orlando News states. The property replacing the former Villas of Grand Cypress Golf Resort is still under construction, with an estimated grand opening date set for December as of publication, say resort officials. Despite opening being months away, the resort has begun to accept reservations as of earlier this year.
