The Florida Highway Patrol is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a hit and run suspect in Pinellas County, a social media release states. According to the Facebook post from Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County, Inc., on May 19, 2023 at 10:28 am, a bicyclist was traveling south on 54th Avenue North at 43rd Street North when a blue Dodge Ram 1500 pickup departed a Texaco Gas Station. The truck turned west onto 54th Avenue North and collided with the bicyclist, then fled the scene. The photo of the suspect was captured on the gas station's security video and shared by Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County in an attempt to identify the man. Anyone with information regarding this case who wishes to remain anonymous is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County at **TIPS.
