8/2/2023 0 Comments Reward offered: Florida PD asking for help identifying person of interest in Publix shootingA shooting occurred around 10:30p.m. in a Miramar Publix parking lot on July 29 and now the Miramar Police Department is looking to the public to help assist with identifying a person of interest involved the investigation. "Need to Identify," the Miramar Police's Twitter post timestamped at 2:57p.m. today starts, featuring a couple of photos of who they are calling a person of interest in the July shooting incident that took place at the Publix located at 11000 Pembroke Rd. "The pictured male is a person of interest in a shooting that occurred on 7/29/23," are their exact words. It is unclear if this individual is the only one involved nor is it clear to what extent their level of involvement in the case is. The entire Twitter tweet, which includes the case number, detective and additional contact information, is here. No one was hurt during the incident, and little further information regarding the case or what kind of reward is offered was revealed in the Tweet, however, anyone with information on who this particular person of interest is, is urged to contact the Miramar Police directly or to report a tip through the Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. According to the post, you can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward.
