8/23/2023 0 Comments 'She’s starting to shut-down': Florida shelter urgently seeks pup's fur-ever home
A touching Instagram post by the Broward County Humane Society has gone viral since being published yesterday. The post, which includes a caption and short video, starts off by panning from the "losing hope" note posted on the surrendered dog's kennel to a view of the pup looking quite depressed.
"Losing hope," the caption of the post starts. "Beautiful Bella is usually one of our happiest, most social dogs, but after 4 months of waiting to be adopted, she's starting to shut-down." According to the post, Bella, a 3-year-old bulldog breed, was given up by her former owner because of landlord restrictions. "Now she's wondering if she will ever find another family." The post further notes that Bella enjoys attention and is a staff and volunteer favorite. "We're not sure why adopters have passed her by, because Bella is so fantastic! She loves children and is good with most dogs. Bella is hoping you'll give her a second chance at love." â Bella's adoption fee has already been sponsored and she is available to adopt from the Broward Humane Society located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale. You can submit an application online and then stop by to meet her. The humane society is open seven days a week at 11a.m.
