This just proves it: people will go to great lengths to acquire the newest game systems. Arcade Monsters, a popular arcade and bar in Florida, posted an array of CCTV videos yesterday on their Instagram showing someone taking their brand new PS5, which are selling for over $1000 in some places right now. The establishment was asking for the public's help identifying the suspect, even going as far to offer a "large cash reward and lifetime membership" for the help. They updated the post less than an hour later saying he was promptly identified by their "Monster nation." â"Update! Took 54 minutes to identify him. Monster nation is strong!" the update read. Generously, they even gave the suspects two hours to bring back the PS5 before filing "grand theft" charges. Currently the suspects haven't been identified. *UPDATE: Arcade Monster's have told us that they aren't seeking legal action against the suspects, and have since taken their video and post down.
