According to the weekly law enforcement report for February 16 through February 22, 2024 from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, a lost and stranded biker was rescued from Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park. The release states that Officer Dziewiatkowski, Liutenant Davis, and two Okeechobee County Sheriff's deputies responded to the call for a person whose electric bike battery has become drained, stranding the individual on a remote trail. As of publication, the identity of the individual has not been released to the public. After communicating with the subject, offers set out on a side-by-side to locate him. After a couple hours of searching, the subject was located and safely transported back to the main road of the park with no reported injuries. Article by Rachael Volpe
