Suspicious death under investigation in Thonotosassa

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a suspicious death investigation in Thonotosassa, a press release states.

According to the release, just after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, deputies responded to the 15000 block of Dead River Road to the report of a deceased person. At this time, police say the cause of death is unknown.

“While the circumstances surrounding this death are undetermined at this time, our detectives will work diligently to put together the missing pieces to uncover what unfolded here,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “I am asking if anyone knows anything, please, contact us immediately.”
