*Uncovering Florida is in no way affiliated with Chase Sanctuary and receives no commissions from sales.* For the second year in a row, Chase Sanctuary hosted a five-hour event in honor of Earth Day on April 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. According to a statement on the official Chase Sanctuary Facebook page, the event was “a massive hit”. This celebration featured a butterfly garden, multiple live butterfly releases, an art gallery, live music, market, food trucks, conservation education, demonstrations, and other experiences. According to the sanctuary, the Chase Market included vendors selling “products designed to help the environment”, as well as other items. Face painting, a sloth/anteater experience and a lemur interaction were also offered. Chase Sanctuary notes that the type of lemur may have varied. Check out the Chase Sanctuary website and Facebook page for more information on this celebration. Article by Ema Tibbetts
