'World's largest cannabis & psychedelic convention' to take over St. Pete next month

Medical marijuana patients and Czars of Psychedelics alike looking for another way to get lit this summer may want to check out the 'World's Largest Cannabis and Psychedelic Convention' in St. Pete next month.

Presented by Surterra, Cannadelic Summer 2023 is set to take over The Factory art hall and the interactive art museum that is Fairgrounds St. Pete on July 15 from 10 am to midnight.

The event will feature a lineup of over 60 vendors, expert speakers, discussion panels, food trucks and tasting booths, beer and beverage sampling, workshops, immersive activities, live entertainment, networking opportunities, and a medical patient med zone for valid card-holders to top off with their goodies.

An interactive map on the official event website gives potential convention-goers an idea of what to expect from the venue, including breakdowns of where each confirmed vendor will be set up and their assigned booth numbers.

There are three ticket options available: General Admission for $36.01, an Experience Pass for $67.90, and a VIP Pass for $136.99.

Each ticket includes access to the expo hall, marketplace, tastings, and afterparty. The Experience and VIP passes include their own lists of extras, such as access to the on-site activities, speaker and discussion panels, early entry, a VIP lounge, and some VIP swag.

Your Experience and VIP tickets will also include access to Fairgrounds — what event organizers have dubbed as "The Trippiest Art Museum You've Ever Seen." And we'd have to agree; we've never seen something quite like Fairgrounds' unique and immersive art installations, including rooms of lamps, psychedelic neon lights, and giant shrimp sculptures.
