Arguably my most popular articles are the ones about VRBOs on the springs that I have come across, so here's another VRBO on Weeki Wachee River with availability that you can rent with seven friends to make for a totally affordable vacation! Below you'll find nearly everything you need to know.

Siren's Cove is located directly on Weeki Wachee River (home to one of my favorite springs near Tampa) about half way between the headspring and Roger's Park. With two bedrooms (four beds) and two baths, it comfortably sleeps up to eight people and averages $222/per night. Split that eight ways (without additional fees + tax) and it's less than $30/each per night--what a steal! 

Though the 1,500sqft home is not pet friendly and doesn't allow large parties, it is child-friendly and the perfect getaway for the whole family or as a romantic couple's retreat.

What I love most about this rental (besides being situated directly on the river) is that the interior design really hones in on the magical atmosphere with turquoise accents, skylights and mermaid decorations. 

Up to four kayaks are included in your stay which you can launch directly from the home's back deck, or you could do what I'd do and just sit by the river and watch manatees swim by. I have floated by this home many times on my trips up and down Weeki Wachee River, and I have to say it's always caught my attention for its incredibly inviting backyard.

"Our family had a really nice few days spent on the river. We relaxed on the dock and the deck, had s'mores in the fire pit, swam in the current, ate outside by the hummingbirds and bumblebees and went to see the Mermaid Show. Our host was very kind and checked in with us prior to our arrival," one of the recent reviews reads. 

Dates to rent are available as soon as December 11 and it does require a three night minimum to book.
