You'll feel like you stepped into the pages of a comic book at this noodle bar in Florida

Looking for a cool spot for your next date night? A new restaurant in Tampa that will make you feel like you've been ripped from the real world and transported into a 2-dimensional one might just be worth adding to your rotation.

Located in Tampa's Westchase neighborhood, Doodle Noodle Bar feels like something out of a comic book, featuring an entirely black-and-white space with thick chunky outlining to create the 2-D effect with a homestyle diner theme — a work of art done by one of the restaurant's managers, an artist who goes by Ox.

The walls feature unique views through windows such as scenes from space, the jungle, and the Jurassic Age, as well as a 2-D kitchen, living room, a library featuring punny twists on literary classics on their shelves, such as "Phonocchio" and "Frankenpho.", and much more

While the vibe alone is reason enough to have your camera out, wait until the food hits the table. Foodies looking for the next best thing to feature on their Insta feeds will be happy to see how the colorful dishes pop against the monochromatic cartoonish backdrop of the table.

So that begs the question — what kind of grub does this unique spot serve? Signature to Doodle Noodle Bar are their pre-made and build-your-own pho noodle bowls and soups, featuring flavors such as steak, chicken, oxtail, and pork belly, though veggie and seafood options are also available.

Don't fret if oodles of noodles aren't your jam though; Doodle's menu also offers a variety of appetizers, summer rolls, stir fry, rice bowls, salads, and poke that pair well with their fruity lemonades with strawberry popping boba and bubble milk teas as well.

According to reports from Tampa Beacon, the restaurant is also in the process of getting a liquor license; once that happens, they'll be serving food until 4 am, and liquor until 3 am on weekends.

Planning a trip to Doodle Noodle Bar? Pro tip: wear bright colors to contrast with the space's monochrome color scheme for photos that truly POP! You can find Doodle's address and hours below.
