If you love all things greasy and potato-y, then you'll want to add the St. Pete French Fry Festival to your list of things to do in May.
The 5th year of this event is being hosted one day only on May 15 by Gulf to Bay Food Truck Association at the Albert Whitted Park in Downtown St. Petersburg. Fries will obviously be the main attraction, but there will be a wide variety of other food options to choose from --so don't worry about the picky eater in your family going hungry! The event will be located in close proximity to the Salvador Dali Museum, and only a few blocks away from many other great area attractions including the St. Pete Pier. The French Fry Fest is a family friendly event and will start at 3p.m. and run until 10p.m. Though this event is outdoors, pet dogs are not allowed.
